Judy Irving, the producer/director of the acclaimed documentary feature, "The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill," seeks support for her new film, "Pelican Dreams." The film stars Gigi, a young, hungry, slightly confused brown pelican who created a spectacular traffic jam on the Golden Gate Bridge when she landed by mistake on the roadway. She was "arrested" and taken off in a police car to a seabird rescue center, and was later released back to the wild.
