Member Name

Creating a Member Name.

To create a Member Name go to the Sign Up page and enter a name in the field called "Choose a Member Name."

Your Member Name must be at least six characters.

We recommend that you use a combination of letters and numbers.  Member Names are case sensitive.

I forgot my Member Name.

To retrieve your Member Name go to the Log In page and click on the "I forgot my Member Name" link.

Follow the directions, enter your email address and click "Recover."

An email will be sent to you with your Member Name.

Change my Member Name.

Go to My Account and click on Member Name in the left hand menu and provide the change information requested.

Password

Creating a Password.

To create a Password go to the Sign Up page and enter a password in the field called "Create a Password."

Your Password must be at least six characters.  The "Password Strength" indicator will show you when you've chosen a secure one.

We recommend that you use a combination of letters and numbers.  Passwords are case sensitive.

You are responsible for keeping your Password confidential.  Please do not share your Password with others.

I forgot my Password.

To retrieve your password go to the Log In page and click on the "I forgot my Password" link.

Follow the directions, enter your Member Name and click "Send."

An email will be sent to you with a link to create a new password.

Change my Password.

Go to My Account and click on Password in the left hand menu and provide the change information requested.

Log In

My Member Name and Password don't work.

Please double check that you are using the correct and most recent Member Name and Password.

Remember that Member Names and Passwords are case sensitive.

Please try the I forgot my Member Name and I forgot my Password links on the Log In page to retrieve your Member Name and Password and ensure that you're be using the correct information.

My Personal Information

View and edit personal information.

Go to My Account and click on the edit/set privacy link.

My Organization Information

View and edit organization(s) information.

Go to My Organizations and click on the edit/set privacy link.

Our nonprofit organization's address has changed.  How do I correct it?

doGoodr uses the address that's found in the IRS Master Business File for your organization.  However, the IRS files can often take months to update.

If the address shown for your organization is outdated, click the "private" box for that address, then "Add another address" by clicking the blue text link.

When your Post is published, your new address will be displayed.

Account Preferences

Post View Settings.

Post View Settings allow you to view Need Help Posts or Offer Help Posts as your default setting when you click on the Posts tab on the main menu.

To set your Post View preferences, Go to My Account and click on the Account Preferences link in the left hand menu.

My Account Preferences are not working.

Please be sure you are logged in.

Account Status

Closing Your Account.

You can temporarily "Suspend" your account and come back anytime within 3 years, and all your Posts and other information will be saved (recommended method).

Or you can "Delete" your account permanently, but all your Posts will be lost.

To change your account status go to "My Account" and click on Close My Account.

My Account no longer works.
